Mechanical puzzles have always been my thing. An engine that won't run right, a part nobody makes any more, a dimension that won't come out true: that is exactly where I enjoy myself.
After qualifying as an engine specialist at the École de la Performance, I specialised in engine tuning. I first worked in motorsport, where every setting comes down to the finest detail. I then moved into historic vehicle restoration, which teaches patience and respect for the original part.
Along the way I gained solid experience as a turner and miller. That is what lets me bridge engine work and machining today: when a part is missing, I can make it.
I set up my workshop in Malbo, in the Cantal, to put these skills at everyone's service: private owners and collectors, garages, farmers, tradespeople and industry.
